Welcome To Quincy Free Methodist Church
On-line streaming of Sunday Service
Your health and safety are our highest priority as well as the health and safety of the most vulnerable among us. In light of current circumstances and with prayerful deliberation with our Board of Administration (BOA) and staff, we have made the decision to temporarily move our Sunday gatherings to streaming online beginning this Sunday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. We are not new to on-line streaming of services, as that began in October of 2019.
During these days of “on-line gathering” only, we will continue to provide services that include three essentials: Worship songs to help you connect with God, Bible teaching to help you follow Jesus, and Prayer to encourage you to “stay the course.” To join the service online this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., you can follow the link provided here:

Although this will be different from our normal gatherings, we are excited to worship the Lord with you all. And we are hopeful that it won’t be long before we can all be together again soon. We will continue to review guidance from national, state, and county officials and provide you with weekly updates that clarify our weekend plans.
For those of you who consider QFMC your home church, you can give your tithes and offerings via one of the following ways: a) give on-line at qfmc.org , b) mail your gifts to QFMC / 301 I Street SW / Quincy, WA. 98848 or c) drop your gift off at the church office which will be open Monday – Thursday 9 am to 4 pm.
Some final thoughts
In the past five weeks, we completed a sermon series called “Conquering Your Giants.” As we proceed into uncertain days, let me close by offering you some tried and true principles to defeat the current giant we all face.
- Pray Often – While this is definitely not a time to panic, it is certainly the time to pray. Please join us in prayer for one another, for our communities, and the global efforts being engaged to combat the spread of the virus. If you need prayer or know of someone we could be praying for, let us know with an email.
- Extend Love – Many in these days will need help and we will have a unique opportunity to be an extension of the love and grace of God. If you see or know of anyone who needs support (spiritual, physical, financial, etc.) please let us know. We want to help.
- Practice Wisdom – We recommend you check out the CDC Flu Prevention Guidelines. These include things like washing your hands, covering your mouth when you cough, social distancing, etc.
- Stay Connected – While social distancing is wise right now, social isolation is not. Stay connected with us, with one another, with your family. Check-in on those who might not have someone to check-in on them. We hope to offer some alternative options for us to stay connected as a church in this complicated situation. This is an important time for us to lean into the presence of God together.
Finally, if you know of someone who may attend QFMC but does not get our email notifications, please contact them or let us know so we may contact them. We don’t want anyone to fall through the cracks! Also, if you have any ideas or suggestions for us as we navigate this event, please let us know. We want to hear from you.
Remember, our God is bigger than this giant. God will not leave us or forsake us. Stay the course my friends!
